FLAG Grant Details


The Uncle Kory Foundation (UKF) FLAG Program is designed to allow Research Investigators to apply for much needed resources to begin or continue their research in the field of pediatric brain cancer research. The seed grants from UKF are established at $50,000 for the first year and $50,000 for the second year, if renewed. UKF grants do not include funds for institutional overhead.

Terms

The term of the grant is one year. The award will be for $50,000. A Progress Report will be due six months from initial funding date. A final summary report is required from the grant winner one year from the date of funding. The Uncle Kory Foundation uniform policy does not allow for administrative or indirect fees to be assessed against the grant.

The research project must be directly related to the field of pediatric brain cancer. The award will be given to the applicant exclusively for the purpose of conducting the proposed research. The winner’s name, institution, title of the research project, and a brief description of the project in layman’s terms will be posted on the Uncle Kory Foundation website. Any publication associated with the research funded from this grant must recognize Uncle Kory Foundation as a sponsor.​
